The Alpha Course is a bridge to the one world church!
True believers must have nothing to do with it!
After a discussion with a friend the other day, I have realised that I could be a bit clearer as to why I have such hatred for the Alpha Course. Hatred may seem like a very strong word, but Im reminded of Psalm 139:20-22 For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain. Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee? I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies. The Alpha course has been accepted by almost every denomination in existence including the Catholic Counterfeit. Although I have denounced the Alpha Heresy many times, I want to add more meat to the bones of my argument. It should be enough for every true child of God to flee this false tool of evangelism, because of the fact that the Alpha Course authors boast that the Catholic Church is using it unaltered, to bring converts into their anti-Christ, hell inspired doctrine of demons. Can we think about that for a moment? Protestants and the Catholic Church alike are using this system of evangelism have we completely lost our senses? We assume it is valid because the majority accepts it without question. Friends, we need to remember that we are called to the TRUTH and that we are to test ALL things. If popularity were the measure of truth, we would all be worshiping Santa Clause. The Alpha Course originated in the United Kingdom at Holy Trinity Brompton Church (an Anglican church in London) through curates Nicky Gumbel and Sandy Millar. The earliest versions go as far back as 1977. Gumbel began teaching the current version in 1990. He acknowledges that it is always open to revision. Its not remembered these days but Holy Trinity Brompton in London became known as the centre of holy laughter for England and Europe with people falling down apparently drunk in the spirit at every service. Taxies did a roaring trade by taking spiritually drunk Martyn Percy, director of the Lincoln Theological Institute for the Study of Religion and Society of the University of Sheffield, England, has commented about Alpha that it is a package rather than a pilgrimage. In a recent essay, he said, It is a confident but narrow expression of Christianity, which stresses the personal experience of the Spirit over the Spirit in the church. ... The Alpha approach has been faulted for pushing an experience-driven approach to evangelism that sidesteps intellectual difficulties. When God restored the genuine power of Pentecost in Wales in 1904 there was an immediate backlash from the enemy. Just over one year after the revival hit, Evan Roberts (The evangelist God used to bring the revival in Wales) was shocked and sickened by the counterfeit that was springing up along side this genuine move of God. Roberts disappeared from the revival and never ministered in public again. What we are seeing and accepting, as church today, is the same phenomena that Evan Roberts refused to have anything to do with. If you follow revival history you will see this happening every time. One hundred years later, all thats left is the counterfeit we are witnessing today. We must, therefore, go back to the true word of God and look at the example of our forefathers who lived lives of holiness, self-sacrifice and even martyrdom for the sake of their saviour
rather than the Alpha Course! The Alpha Course depicts sin as something that messes up our lives rather than the fruit of the ungodly hell-bent nature of every human being since Adam who rebelled against our Holy God in the garden. Repentance is seen as a change of mind, rather than the devastating realisation that we have committed gross crimes against the Holy God who created all things. The true nature of the Alpha Course can be seen in its universal acceptance. Every denominational barrier has been effortless crossed. This may seem like something to be desired, except the truth is, its drawing converts by the hundreds of thousands into the end time one world church spawned by the antichrist Catholic System. The Anglican Church has almost entirely crossed over to Rome and they intend taking as many other churches as they can get their ecumenical, blood soaked hands on. The blood on their hands is that of the blessed martyrs of England murdered by bloody Mary for their refusal to submit to the Papist abomination of the mass, nor accept any King but King Jesus. In the olden days, when a ship was short of crew, the British Nave had a novel way to recruit men. They would tour the pubs looking for drunkards. The press gang would hit them over the head, throw them in the hold of the ship, and set out to sea. The poor men found out that getting drunk was not what it was cracked up to be. Getting drunk in the spirit is not what its cracked up to be ether, its wholesale demon possession! The Alpha Course has special weekends to complete the press gang conversion process. The drunks are oblivious to the reality of their situation, until its too late and they are on a voyage they never signed up for. Gumbel says that the purpose of the Holy Spirit weekends is to expect all kinds of strange manifestations and bodily agitations. This is what he has to say about the experience: Sometimes, when people are filled, they shake like a leaf in the wind. Others find themselves breathing deeply as if almost physically breathing in the Spirit. ... Physical heat sometimes accompanies the filling of the Spirit In the course textbook Questions of Life Gumbel accurately expounds on the plight of man, however in Alpha, its never portrayed in the serious way it is in the Bible. He talks of the pollution of sin, as well as the power of sin and the penalty of sin. He rightly elaborate on Romans 3:23 and the evil that comes out of a mans heart and our guilt because of breaking Gods laws. Emphasis is placed on the consequences of sin, all of this is biblical and there is no fault to be found. The reader should be reminded however, that rat poison is 97% protein; the 3% is what kills them dead! The word of God is 100% pure nothing less than the full gospel will produce true conversion. Why are so many churches using this rat poison? Why indeed! Could it have anything to do with the fact that our ministers are not up to their calling? If a man were truly called to be a shepherd, wouldnt he also be equipped to feed My sheep? or able to perform the basics of the gospel and go ye therefore? It beggars belief that so called Protestant ministers are using this Anglican rat poison to win the lost along side some catholic priest who is presenting new converts to the queen of heaven, who will drag them, kicking and The following is a testimony from a Roman Catholic man who attended Alpha for Catholics Remember; this material is the exact same as that used by non-catholic churches! I was brought up a Catholic, but all my life I attended church out of obligation, out of duty. I was asked along to Alpha at St George's parish, Norwich. I was a little apprehensive but I decided to go along. When I arrived I was struck by how the people running the course were so alive. It was the first time I had come across such a loving set of people. They have since become very good friends. On one of the evenings I was prayed for, and I received the Holy Spirit. I had a smile from one ear to the other. My church life has now intensified greatly. I go to a weekly prayer meeting at St George's and I am a children's liturgy catechist. I also do catechism with the parents of children who are being baptised. I am now reading at mass, and participating in many more of the parish activities. Philip Hook, Norfolk, UK http://uk.alpha.org/catholics This poor man has just undergone this training and is more enthusiastic about his catholic rituals than ever before. He is participating in the pagan mass of transubstantiation and telling children and their parents that he has found his newfound joy in this catholic deception. I get mad just thinking about how this poor man could end up in hellfire for all eternity, thanks to the Alpha Course for Catholics. Am I getting closer to making my point clear enough?Introduction to Alpha in aCatholic ContextThe Alpha course is a local parish tool for evangelisation that is being used by hundreds of Catholic parishes in over 60 countries around the world. Alpha, which grew out of a local Anglican parish community, is now running in33,000 churches of every denomination around the world. In particular Alpha is attracting many young people who are asking the question Is there more to life than this? This quest has led nearly 15 million people to come on an Alpha course in over 160 countries around the world. The Alpha course has received the support of many Catholic Bishops, priests and lay people around the world who are seeking to respond to the call to a new evangelisation.
